Hello From On The Legal Side!

Todays' edition we are discussing something that seems to be a problem for security across the country.

Security officers take a person into custody for violating the law, call police and sometimes the law enforcement officer will make the arrest
and sometimes they refuse to.

Sometimes they'll transport the prisoner for the citizen arrest and sometimes they won't.

Sometimes the police officer will even drop the prisoner off down the road and never bring them to booking, jail or the magistrate.

This poses a legal issue for the security officer who made that detention as well as for the police agency.

What can we do and are we liable or could we face a lawsuit or even ana rrest?
