I must admit that I have always loved this time of year. As far back as I can remember, Thanksgiving and Christ-mas was my time of year. And in my house, it was always big. I remember the tree decorating, the outside lights (the big ones) the Christ-mas candies, the cakes, and pies, and all the food you could eat. Growing up it was all about Santa Claus and what he would bring and what we were going to receive. After becoming a Christian it was all about Jesus Christ and his birth, God's gift to all mankind, and gift-giving instead of receiving. Many Christians, however, don't know this but we did not always celebrate Christ-mas. The only holiday Christians celebrated after the resurrection of Jesus Christ, for the first 300 years of the church was Easter. There are some Christians who do celebrate Christ-mas and some who don't and others do but don't really know why. That is why I thank God that he taught me the history of what I like to call "Christian Christ-mas." So join us as we discover and reveal the truth about Christian Christ-mas.
