This week we will open the program with a brief visit from special guest, Ms. Margaret Kimberly - research journalist, author, analyst, editor, senior columnist, and co-founder for BlackAgendaReport.com (a hard hitting news media centered on issues affecting the Black community and the nation).  Ms. Kimberly will weigh in on the current state of affairs affecting the Black community.  She will share her unique perspective of events that may not have hit main stream media. In addition she will concisely highlight her new book. Then, returning to PNW will be: Mr. Kevin Porter (author, engineer, Executive Director of 'Man Made Mentoring', and educator).  Kevin will weigh in on the specific current state of African Americans (who are statistically disproportionately impacted by societal pressures) with a focus on solutions, seeking a positive change.  Mr. Porter will also discuss specific related topics from his book: "Angry Little men: Hypermasculinity, Academic Disconnect and Mentoring African American Males".  Joining Mr. Porter will be Mr. Adrian Council publisher and Co-founder of "The Positive Community", (a magazine and website advocating positive change especially in the Black community). This is the third in a series of programs focusing on deeply accessing the issues negatively impacting African Americans during these challenging times, and developing solutions. Given what is going on in society to African Americans [at all levels], this discussion will serve delve more deeply into comprehensive a discourse of additional specific proposed solutions and implementation plans for the weeks ahead, working with various organizations with a common interest.

You are encouraged to participate in this discourse to help correct long standing issues in our society and specifically in the African American community.
