Our guest tonight is Lois Vanderbur. Lois Vanderbur's Marine Corps son died under mysterious circumstances nearly 20 years ago! An extremely bright, college-educated son who jumped out of airplanes(sky diving) and lived life to the fullest was suddenly found dead and listed as a suicide-even when it was determined that he couldn't have killed himself in the way described! This led Lois to investigate her son's death and in so doing she joined "until we have answers"-a group of parents with the same problems and concerns. If he was, indeed murdered, what was the reason? Did he see or hear something he wasn't supposed to have and his killers felt they needed to silence him permanently? Not all so-called 'suicides' are such and Lois talks about them. Her husband is Gene Vanderbur, the former director of the Meat Animal Research Center in Clay Center, NE. Her other son is a physician and her daughter is a mathematics teacher. Her brother is a U. of Chicago-educated mathematician. Lois has also been on 60 Minutes and 20/20 and now she comes to us with her incredible, heart wrenching story. So tune in!
