Talking Angels with Rita & Mike

Topic: Rita & Mike discuss wandering in the desert.  It occurred to me that we have, all of us, a time when we are in bondage.  Held in a place of fear, insecurity and loneliness when it seems like there is no hope.  And then, somehow, we are awakened and we are freed from our bonds.  But just awakening to a new reality doesn't mean that your dreams have come true yet.  There is a period in which we wander, sometimes without a clue as to what we are supposed to be doing, where we are going or who we really are.  This is the time we are wandering in our own personal desert. When we are in the desert, we are given ample time to come to terms with some deep realities and we ask ourselves questions.  We are given time to develop faith and trust and to commune with something much bigger than our own minds and hearts.
