Shalum lakhem! Welcome to our broadcast. Tonight, we conclude our discussion on scholarship & its impact on belief in Holy Scripture. Last week we took a look at the claim that the first philosopher was an Egyptian named Ptah-Hotep, as asserted by modern day scholars. Why the fascination with all things Egypt? We contrasted that thought with the Holy Scripture's teaching of several men responsible for founding practices such as tentmaking & raising cattle, long before Egypt existed. This was to show that not everything came from Egypt; and, if that type of knowledge & understanding existed, there also existed a wisdom.
