S06/E73: "Memorial Day 2024-Some Gave All While Others Suffered Fake Bonespurs"

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY 2024 AMERICA! 

Tonight we honor those who served and who are currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States. We take a lot for granted that we shouldnt. Voting is one such thing. Reflecting and taking time to appreciate the sacrifice many men and women made in order for America to be free. 

But how free is America though? We are ranked #26 on the World Freedom Index. Why not #1? Republicans are banning books, taking away Women's Reproductive Rights, suppressing minority voters, demonizing immigrants who want to better their lives and economic opportunities by coming to America, and trying to roll back the hands of time by making it harder for other marginalized groups who has fought for their freedoms today. They want to go back to a time when the benefits and spoils mostly helped White Anglo-Saxon Protestants (WASP). They wrongly believe that it was a time when America was great. Let's not give them what they crave as it will be detrimental to the collective. America should be moving forward and not backward like certain over-priviledged people want. When was America really great? Is there really American Exceptionalism? How can we truly make America better for everyone?
