Waiting, Hoping, and Praying -- The Parker J. Cole Show

When I come home from an errand, my dog always barks, howls, and wags her tail at the window. She'll follow me as I walk to the front door, her eyes glued to my every step. When I open the door, she jumps and almost knocks me down every time because I've been away. It doesn't matter if I've been gone for five minutes or five hours, whenever I get back, she's happy to see me.

After all, I was the thing she was waiting for.

Are you in a season where you are waiting on the Lord to move, and He seems to have gone away or forgotten you?

No one likes to wait in line, much less wait in life. How do we get past the frustration of waiting on the Lord to move in our lives? Is waiting stagnation or preparation for something more? Is there a purpose to it and how can we find out what that purpose is?

Perhaps we should take a page from our dear pets' book -- they don't give up on watching for you. They wait for your return because they have faith that you will.
