If you are under-prepared, a single mistake can derail your success in an instant. Being prepared can make the difference between your plans ending in failure or succeeding despite a bump in the road.
One of the first important points to investigate for potential problems is your environment. Know where you live and what your area is prone to; know the seasons and always have a plan in place ahead of time. Create a plan for each situation, One thing you can do is have 3 weeks of food and toilet paper around in case you can't get out of the house. You'll probably do things differently in a wildfire than in a flood or a snowstorm, but if your car breaks down, make sure you have a charged-up phone to call for help.
Also, be friends with your neighbors. You never know when you might need them in case of a disaster. They may have to let someone know that you are missing so they can look for you.
For every unexpected event, we can be ready for it, although it will probaly feel unimportant during times when life is going smoothly, but when trouble hits, you'll be better set up to get through the difficulty and more likely to overcome it if you remember that GOD is ALWAYS in CONTROL!
