Wet snouts, soft fur, piercing songs, and fluffy feathers -- this edition of the Write Stuff is dedicated to the animals we love. Our dogs who come bumbling at us as soon as we walk into the door. The cats who rub against our legs. The mice who chitter when they see us. The birds who sing and flap their wings at our entrance or even the lizards, the geckos, the chickens -- pets, the companions God made for us.

Animal relationships to humans is wrought with stories of heroic actions, comfort or even some tension.
