Let's Talk About It with Jenny White/ What does Easter mean to you?

What do Easter eggs, chocolate rabbits and a bunny have to do with Jesus Christ??  Do you see Jesus in an egg or in a chocolate bunny? These are some of the things that have replaced Jesus.  Easter got its name in Acts 12: 4. Herod stretched forth his hand to vex certain of the church and he killed James the brother of John with the sword and because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also...and when he had apprended him, he put him in prison...to keep him intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.  Why would Herod wait until after Easter to bring Peter to the people.  Why would he celebrate Easter? Remember he was the same king that had all the young males killed in order to kill Jesus as a child before he could grow up and be King. So if Easter has to do with the resurrection of Jesus, why would Herod be celebrating it?
