When you heard the term CERN, for the laymen, a few things stick out: a particle accelerator, the "GOD" particle, and something 'science-y' normal folks like us couldn't begin to understand. In fact, CERN is an European research organization that operates the largest particle physics laboratory in the world. It is a laboratory who's main job seems pretty legit. According to Wikipedia, "CERN's main function is to provide the particle accelerators and other infrastructure needed for high-energy physics research".

It all sounds well and good -- but what if there's more going on than just research projects? With an international collaboration and hundreds of universities, scientists, researchers, and others of the intellectual elite, some suggest they're doing more than just zapping a few particles together. What if behind the high sounding noise, a darker, more intrusive scheme is taking place? Sound like the blurb of a science fiction novel or movie? What if I were to tell you...this could all possibly be true.

Join me for an indepth discussion with Douglas Woodward, author, speaker, and researcher as we talk about the big deal about CERN. Call in at 646-668-8485, press 1 to be live on air. Or, download Stitcher on your mobile device. Or, click on the link here
