Let's Talk About It with Jenny White/Racism in the Detroit Police Dept.

After being in the department twenty years and learning as many on the job lessons as I could, someone came into the department after me and after two or three years, they were promoted over me getting the same job I had applied for months ago.  When I try to ask my superior about it, I am told the person was more qualified than I was. When I complain to my union, I am reprimanded.
