Everyone's talking about it. Global warming, climate change, carbon emissions, fossil fuels, alternative energy sources, etc. We all want to make sure we are doing what is good for the planet. After all, until we terraform Mars and Venus, the best location for prime real estate in the solar system is right here on Earth. So we should do all we can to protect it and all the organisms who depend on it's stability.

The feverish talk of global warming and climate change generally centers on the man-impacted effect. Are people the cause of climate change? Let's talk the basics and the nuances with my guest co-host Dr. Roy Spencer from the Cornwall Alliance.

Dr. Roy Spencer is a meterorologist, principal research scientist at the University of Alabama, and the U. S. Team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer on NASA's Aqua Satellite. He also served as senior scientist for climate studies at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and is known for his satellite-based temperature monitoring work, for which he was awarded the American Meterorological Society's Special Award.
