As a writer, I appreciate the power of words. Not in a mystical sense where each word has some sort of magical element to it. But I understand how words can wound, uplift, and energize individuals. Words create images in the mind and take a reader to a far of place. They can lock us in the grip of terror or put us in the cusps of a wonderful relationship. In life, words can be extremely powerful.
