Further Thoughts on “To Wrestle With God”

Here are some further thoughts on the the story of Jacob wrestling with the mysterious stranger, who turned out to be God in the flesh, a foreshadowing of the Incarnation of Christ. Jacob's life and struggles teach us that our life is  not always easy. We also strive and struggle. But faith rises above our problems and pain. We grab hold of the Crucified and Risen Christ. Jacob's wrestling with God takes us to Good Friday and Easter.
