To Wrestle With God

In the story of Jacob wrestling with the mysterious stranger all night, we see a foreshadowing of the Incarnation of the Son of God. Our Lord became flesh and blood, in order to wrestle against the wrath of God against our sins. Through his struggle on the cross, we have the promise and blessing of salvation. Our job now is to grab hold of Jesus and never let go. He wins the blessing for you!
