“ The Trials of Our Faith.”

Recently, I heard a great sermon by a great man of God, Dr. Richard Robinson, as he masterfully put in context the trials of our daily lives! He extrapolated upon the famous old Southern hymn which appeared in “Starlit Crown 1937, Stamps-Baxter Music Co. and gradually worked its way to pop-culture and sang by other artists like Hank Williams, Elvis Presley, Glenn Campbell, and Johnny Cash. The song spokes volumes of my own personal life experience. I would like to quote the two stanza of that song which is called the “Farther Along!”

“Tempted and tried will oft' me to wonder
Why it should be thus all the day long;
While there are others living about us,
Never molested, though in the wrong.

Farther along we'll know more about it.
Farther along we'll understand why;
Cheer up my brother live in the sunshine
We'll understand it all by and by.”

This song speaks of the Trials of our lives, all the days our lives! WHY Trials? And, when does it ever going to end? The reason it resonates with so many people is that it comes straight from the trenches of our daily living. Bible has much to say about this! Temptation, or (Testing) Is the Trials of Our Lives, and ONLY, takes Faith to get us through those trials! I will be expounding on this topic during my Radio Program, using these Bible verses: 1 Peter 4:12; 1 Corinthians 10:13; James 1:2-4; Vs. 12-15; Hebrews 4:12; Genesis 22:1-4.
