WHAT IS COVENANT THEOLOGY?

1- The Covenant Theology the ( Belief that the church is the extension off of Israel.

The Covenant Theology not only sees the Church as an extension of Israel, they also look at the Scriptures through the Network of Two Covenants: a) the Covenant of Works (CW), and, b) the Covenant of Grace (CG)!

The Covenant Theology started and spread during the time of Reformation, and was Favored by those of Calvinistic Persuasion!

Where Dispensationalism sees the Scripture being unfolded through Seven (7) Distinct Dispensations, revealing God's Redemptive Plan through the history of mankind! Those 7 Dispensations Are As Follow:

1- The Dispensation of Innocence: Genesis 1:28-30 and Genesis. 2:15-17.

2- The Dispensation of Conscience: Gen. 3:8-----8:22. This is when man was allowed to live by his own Will and Conscience. Gen. 6: 1-4, 5-6; Gen. 6:11-18.

3- The Dispensation of Human Government: Gen. 8:1--9:7. Gen. 11:1-9, after Flood

4- The Dispensation of Promise: Promise to Abraham, Genesis 12:1-7.

5- The Dispensation of Law. Lasted 1,500, Begin with Exodus and Ended with the Crucifixion & Resurrection of Christ. Mosaic LAW. Exodus 19-23.

6- The Dispensation of Grace (The Age of Grace, The Age of Church) lasting more than 2,000 years ----Occurred between 69th and 70th weeks of Daniel 9:24-27.

7- The Millennial Kingdom of Christ with the Defeat of Satan. Rev. 20:1-3. V-10.
