Listen to the Sun. June 7, 2020 special edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program features our regular PANW report with dispatches on the impact of United States foreign policy in Africa in light of the national unrest sweeping the country due to the police execution of George Floyd in Minneapolis; President Cyril Ramaphosa of the Republic of South Africa has made a public statement in solidarity with the African American people in their struggle against racism; demonstrations are continuing in the U.S. demanding an end to police brutality and the defunding of law-enforcement; and in Bristol, England a statue of a slave owner was toppled by angry protesters. In the second and third hours we continue our focus on developments involving the African American movement in the U.S. looking at the character of the demonstrations and the potential influence on domestic and international politics.
