This program will feature our regular PANW report with dispatches on the criticism leveled at the African Union (AU) Summit by the South African Communist Party (SACP) over the admission of the Kingdom of Morocco absent of their recognition of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) in the Western Sahara; Iran maintains that it has a sovereign right to strengthen its defenses amid imperialist provocations; a federal judge in Washington state has placed a restraining order on the Trump administration ban on seven different countries in Africa and the Middle East; and a neo-fascist propagandist was prevented from speaking earlier in the week at the University of California at Berkeley. In the second hour we begin a monthlong commemoration of African American History with an examination of the life, times and legacy of novelist, essayist, playwright. commentator and activist James Baldwin. A docuentary film on Baldwin is being released this month.
