Listen to this special edition of the Pan-African Journal: Worldwide Radio Broadcast hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. The program will feature our regular PANW report with dispatches a recent bomb attack in Somalia; the escalating war in the North African state of Libya; the efforts by the Syrian government in stabilizing the situation inside the country; and the Olympics gold medal victory of Caster Semenya of the Republic of South Africa. We are continuing our acknowledgement of the month-long Black August commemorations by honoring the forty-fifth anniversary of the martyrdom of George Jackson at San Quinten in 1971. We will also present the address delivered by Abayomi Azikiwe to the Detroit Unitarian Universalist Church two weeks ago on Race, Class and Justice in America.
