Listen to the Pan-African Journal hosted by Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of the Pan-African News Wire. This episode will feature PANW reports on the ongoing demonstrations in Ferguson and in support of the people of this area. In addition there will be a featured segment on the life and times of African National Congress (ANC) leader Nelson Mandela (1918-2013); an interview examining the history of African women and work in the United States; and our Voices From History segment will focus on the Black Panther Party in May 1968 during the campaign against the California Mulford Act, defense work around Panther leaders and other issues.
