Deception of Motherhood and its Adverse Affect on ONENESS

Brothers and Sisters we approach the second third of 2011 and we continue our pursuit of ONENESS; after last week we marveled at how God has a way of pulling things together. This coming Sunday we celebrate Mother's Day driven by the what most of us agree is an effort to honor our mothers for the sacrifices they made and continue to make for their families and especially for their children. We of course are blessed to be able to utter these words to our wonderful mothers and to our wonderful wives. We want to stop for a minute and evaluate how we see mothers today and how mothers have been deceived (sometimes) to follow a path destroying ONENESS and making God's utterance of Genesis 2:24 ineffective and powerless. Let us explore and consider the following statistics.
