Failure To Improve Marital Performance Will Destroy ONENESS

Why are we unwilling to access our marriage performance with the desire to improve our performance opposite our marriage vows. Looking to scripture provides the model of what excellent performance should be in marriage. We must also use daily mundane realities as examples in our desire to uncover examples of Godly performance to our spouses who represent what God ordained from the beginning. We often times are hampered in our willingness to accept constructive criticisms in our marriage simply because we believe any admittance of error or need for improvement will give our spouse a leg up on us (flesh thinking) and this is something we do not want to face as we embrace a false doctrine that I can not afford to be wrong or we hold on to dysfunctional l traditional behaviors and activities which are directly opposed to the principles and precepts of God.
