This week, I will discuss why Donald Trump must be criminally prosecuted in order to save the republic. Not only did Trump break multiple federal laws, but set a precedent which will only encourage more illegal behavior from the extremists in the GOP. No president is above the law. Period. Furthermore, Trump has been aided by Judge Aileen Mercedes Cannon as she literally halted the full criminal investigation beng conducted by the DOJ. Trump stealing national security records is far more serious than the Watergate case. Trump placed our national security in dire jeopardy at an incalculable risk. That's story #1.

Story #2 deals with the very law which enabled the Flint water crisis, namely the Emergency Manager Act. This 'law' basically places an unnofficial poll tax on lower income munincipalities. It says that if your jurisdiction is deemed "too poor" by the state, your local elections can and WILL be overturned by the state. This law was spearheaded by multiple far right think tanks, including the DeVos funded Mackinac Center.
