More on the alleged 'permitting reforms' on the mining and transporting of fossil fuels, demanded by both democrats and republicans, is nothing but a big scam. It's a scam in terms of environmental concerns, in addition to violating the rights of communities where these pipelines and mining interest will situate their operations. This is about so much more than the Mountain Valley Pipeline Both parties are working overtime to render two environmental laws, namely NEPA and the Clean Water Act--impotent.
Add to that the 'carbon capture & storage' scheme, and you have a 'perfect storm' of lies, half-truths, misinformation and other forms of obfuscation which some call 'greenwashing.' I call it criminal enterprise aided and abetted by our corrupt political system.
