NABWIC Talks with Mincy Pollock, President & CEO, Florida Care Assurance Group

Mincy Pollock is President and Chief Executive Officer of Florida Care Assurance Group, a local Florida Blue full service insurance company.

As President and CEO, Mincy's priority will be to continue to provide access, education and awareness for affordable healthcare options to Jacksonville and Northeast Florida communities.

Mincy sees himself as more than just a businessman. He considers himself a public servant, one committed to serving the needs of the community and the City of Jacksonville at large. He has strategically worked with faith-based organizations, non-profits, small businesses and various outreach urban organizations to create innovative partnerships that have been key to unlocking resources that will improve opportunities for the uninsured to have access to quality healthcare. In just a little over three years, he's aided in helping to enroll over 75,000 plus Jacksonville residents under the Affordable Care Act, many of whom never had health care.

His efforts led to his receiving national recognition from U.S. Secretary Sylvia Burwell of Health and Human Services and Congresswomen Corrine Brown.

"I believe when you have Healthy Citizens, there lives a Healthy City.” Now a favorite motto of Mincy's, one that is transforming and saving lives one enrollment at a time.
