Prior to founding DOT Communications, Ms. Owens worked for UniWorld Group, Inc., the nation's longest-standing full-service multicultural agency, and at Golin/Harris Communications, one of the nations leading public relations firms. A native of Louisville, KY, she is a graduate of Howard University and resides in Washington, DC. She currently serves as the Vice-President of the Washington, DC Chapter of the Black Public Relations Society.
