Good morning everybody, I'm so excited to share this New Testament word today.  We are talking salvation and the preparation for the savior to come into our lives.  We will be coming from Luke 2:41-52, where Jesus told His parents, "I must be about My Father's business."  We will also go through Matthew 3:1-12, Mark 1:1-8, Luke 3:1-18 and John 1:19-28, where we will read and talk about John The Baptist the cousin of Jesus, who said, "Prepare the way of the Lord."

Now so it was that after three days they found Him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them and asking them questions. And all who heard Him were astonished at His understanding and answers. So when they saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, “Son, why have You done this to us? Look, Your father and I have sought You anxiously.” And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be  about  My Father’s business?” But they did not understand the statement which He spoke to them.
Luke 2:46-50 - NKJV

In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the wilderness of Judea, and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!” For this is he who was spoken of by the prophet Isaiah, saying: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the  Lord; Make His paths straight.’ ” Matthew 3:1-3 - NKJV

Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.” AHe said: “I am ‘The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Make straight the way of the  Lord,” ’ as the prophet Isaiah said.”
John 1:19-23 - NKJV
