We will continue moving forward through the book of Jeremiah. Today we will be coming from Jeremiah  36:1-10, 25:1-14, 36:11-32, 45:1-5 and 15:10-21.  Can you image how hard it was for Jeremiah to speak truth to power?  It was difficult when it appeared that things were going good in the Kingdom.  Especially since Jeremiah continued to prophecy desolation. “Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts: ‘Because you have not heard My words, behold, I will send and take all the families of the north,’ says the Lord, ‘and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, My servant, and will bring them against this land, against its inhabitants, and against these nations all around, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, a hissing, and perpetual desolations. Jeremiah 25:8-9 - NKJV.  O, Lord, You know; Remember me and visit me, And take vengeance for me on my persecutors. In Your enduring patience, do not take me away. Know that for Your sake I have suffered rebuke. Your words were found, and I ate them, And Your word was to me the joy and rejoicing of my heart; For I am called by Your name, O Lord God of hosts.  Jeremiah 15:15-16 - NKJV
