God knows everything about us.  He sees into our hearts and looks at our souls.  Is your soul a bright light or a dark one? In today's lesson we see a bright light and kind heart in the servant girl from Israel, that told Naaman the leper about the Prophet Elisha who could heal him.  Elisha showed his bright light when he healed what some would say was his enemy.  He didn't ask for silver or gold. What he got was Naman saved.  Then we have Gehzi the the dark light pretending to be a bright light. "Then Naaman went with his horses and chariot, and he stood at the door of Elisha’s house. And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, “Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean.” But Naaman became furious, and went away and said, “Indeed, I said to myself. However, Naaman follows Elisha's instructions and is healed.  Naaman tries to get Elisha to take payment but he refused.  Gehzi however with his dark light, goes and lied to get his master payment.  So Elisha asked him  “Where did you go, Gehazi?” And he said, “Your servant did not go anywhere.” Then he said to him, “Did not my heart go with you when the man turned back from his chariot to meet you? Is it time to receive money and to receive clothing, olive groves and vineyards, sheep and oxen, male and female servants? Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and your descendants forever.” And he went out from his presence leprous, as white as snow."  Come join us this morning as we walk through Israel's darkest days in chapter 6. Let your bright light shine in the darkness of this world.  Remember God sees past the surface.  Is your light bright?
