  • Fibonacci Series: The Fibonacci sequence is a list of numbers in which each is the sum of the two numbers before it. The list stretches into infinity but shows up throughout nature. Many day traders believe they can find profitable trades by following the Fibonacci sequence on charts.
  • Pattern Day Trader: Pattern day traders must have $25,000 in a margin account to cover day trades according to regulations.
  • Technical Analysis: Day traders look for patterns in recent price/volume changes to determine the chance of a stock going up or down.
