Early this year NATE PARKER, received a near record breaking deal ($17.5M) at the Sundance Film Festival for his film, BIRTH OF A NATION.  The movie, which PARKER writes, directs, and stars details NAT TURNER'S SLAVE REBELLION and made PARKER the darling of HOLLYWOOD; until his 17 year-old RAPE TRIAL resurfaced, just as the film's marketing ramped up for it's highly anticipated October release.  Although he was acquitted his alleged victim committed suicide in 2012, and many feminists around the country have pledged non support of the film.  GABRIELLE UNION, who stars in the film, and also a victim of rape in the past expressed her own difficulty in supporting PARKER.  FOX SEARCHLIGHT owns the rights to BIRTH OF A NATION and publicly pledged support of PARKER, but some suggest the company purchased the film only to sabotage its popularity.  Did Parker get away with RAPE, or is this an attempt to discredit PARKER to ensure a film detailing enslaved Africans killing their white slave owners is not widely viewed by the American public?  MENTAL DIALOGUE asking the questions America's afraid to ask. "ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK"
