For the #BLACKLIVESMATTER movement, the question of BLACK ON BLACK CRIME constantly gets thrown in their face. Some argue this is a distraction used to avoid addressing POLICE BRUTALITY; while others suggest until they deal with BLACK ON BLACK CRIME in the Black community, the movement itself is hypocritical. Special guest, Student Minister ABDUL SHARRIEFF MUHAMMAD, co-chair of 10,000 FEARLESS MEN & WOMEN drops by to discuss initiatives by his organization to directly address crime and poverty in the Black community, and specifically in Atlanta's most notorious crime ridden and open air drug market, known as THE BLUFF. The 10,000 FEARLESS MEN & WOMEN was a call to action made by the HONORABLE MINISTER LOUIS FARRAKHAN during last year's 20th anniversary and commemoration of the MILLION MAN MARCH for the Black community to police and clean up their own communities. At the top of the 2nd Hour for the MONEY & POWER 15 (11:00-11:15), we discuss the economics of racial profiling by law enforcement with ATTORNEY JESSICA STERN in communities like, THE BLUFF, around the country. MD asking the questions America's afraid to ask and "ALL I ASK IS THAT YOU THINK."
