2 Timothy 2:16

(KJVA)  But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

(ASV)  But shun profane babblings: for they will proceed further in ungodliness,

(BBE)  But take no part in wrong and foolish talk, for those who do so will go farther into evil,

(BSB)  But avoid irreverent, empty chatter, which will only lead to more ungodliness,

(CEV)  Keep away from worthless and useless talk. It only leads people farther away from God.

(Darby)  But profane, vain babblings shun, for they will advance to greater impiety,

(ERRB)  But shun stand aloof from profane and vain babblings voices : for they will increase shall advance unto more ungodliness irreverence .

(GNB)  Keep away from profane and foolish discussions, which only drive people farther away from God.

(ISV)  However, avoid pointless discussions. For people will become more and more ungodly,
