The racism and abuse at USDA
Lawrence Lucas hosts guests, Michael Stovall, Waymon Hinson and Corey Lea
Racism and abuse at USDA is still rampant. Tom Vilsack continues to refuse justice for Black farmers and its business as usual at the agency. After more than a few decades fighting for fair and equal treatment, Black farmers have received little to no consideration for their cause. The agency is blatant in its abuse of, and disregard for Black farmers.
Black farmers have lost nearly 2.3 million acres of land as a result of the underhanded practices of the USDA, and politicians of all stripes have turned a blind eye to the abuses.
Civil rights at USDA is non-existent. Political leadership is also apparently lacking in this area. Who is there to trust with the destiny of Black farmers and civil rights at USDA?
