The eighth day of Passover is traditionally associated with the Incarnation of the King Messiah, as the Righteousness Judge. For this reason, the haftorah reading on that day contains many prophecies which refer to the time of the final redemption of Israel. Among the best-known of these: "And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth. "In certain Jewish circles, it is customary to hold a Seudat Mashiach (Messiah’s Feast) on 8th day of the Passover.
