I am happy to have Julie Cohn as my guest for 06/20/18. Join us for a conversation about living your music as a watercolor artist and teacher.
Julie Cohn is a talented colorist and is recognized for her powerful and energetic expression of watercolors. In her current work, she calls from her memory bank of images to depict subliminal worlds that emerge abstractly, revealing her strong connection to nature and humanity. Many of her paintings are included in private collections. Her paintings have also been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions, in museums, galleries, the Alameda County Art Commission public collection, and published in American Art Collector.
Julie has been teaching watercolor painting for over 30 years in the Bay Area and abroad, using her own watercolor method to help students feel excited about the fluidity and improvisational qualities of painting with watercolors.
