What is Chiari Condition? With symptoms like headaches, imbalance, acute weakness tingling hands, dizziness, insomnia, neck pain, and ringing in the ears, Chiaris can be hard to diagnose initially.

Chiari malformation affects roughly 1 in 1,000 Americans, yet about 95% of the population hasn't heard of it, although shows like CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, House M.D., and Private Practices have all had Chiari storylines, bringing awareness to the mainstream culture.

Our guest, Vicki Styka, an Elementary Reading Specialist (& my sister), joins us to educate and inspire with her personal story of living with Chiari and going through the only real treatment of a very traumatic brain surgery on Tamara Leigh's TREND ON LIVE every Wed. at 10:00am on the Linked Local Network.
