Jim Treleaven discusses the Chicago Tech scene with Fred Hoch. Contrary to popular opinion, Chicago is a much more significant player in the technology space than many think – both as a developer and a user of technology. Fred Hoch is the President of the Illinois Technology Association (ITA) – a next generation trade association with over 700 member companies with a focus on facilitating the development and growth of the technology industry in greater Chicago. ITA is relentless in championing the growth of technology and its applications, from start-up companies to industry leaders, leveraging the transformative nature of technology to revolutionize industries.  

The two key resources necessary for this growth are capital and talent.    
Fred will discuss his views on where Chicago ranks relative to other cities on both fronts and what ITA is doing to help improve them.
