Unity is a beautiful sense of being connected to others, When we feel unity, we feel that we are in one accord and that we agree on everything there is. It is a form of bliss.

Unity with the God of your understanding IS bliss, when experienced, but know that you are always at one with the God of your beliefs.
Unity between people is another matter. If I am focused on the fact that you are God expressing Himself/Herself/Itsself, and vice versa, THAT is unity but it certainly doesn't mean that we agree even though we are made out of the same Stuff!
