Join Michael Conoley with co-hosts Eva Mermer and Jimmy Gray as we discuss the history of voting in America. From this countrys inception, voting has been one the cornerstones of our foundation. However, all has not been well. with who could vote and why.. In the beginning only white male landowners could vote. Black slaves and women were excluded from this civic duty and responsibility. During the course of our voting history plagued with unrest and protest, we have evolved into a nation that welcomes an enormouse desegragation of voters from the young to the old with color barriers being lifted. This, however has not come easy.
