There is no Treason

Was Lysander Spooner, Lawyer and author of the no treson papers, correct in his summery about the constitution of the US? His writes talk about the constitution being a contract valid only for the citizens who framed it and therefore did not affect anyone after the death of the generation at the time. If this is true then is it not reasonable to say that our constitution today is no longer valid because the contract has not been reviewed since 1871? How is it that we the people have not had a say so in our .own lives , in the amendments added since 1871?
