We resume our regularly scheduled broadcasts of this week in health innovation kicking of the 2014 season fresh from a rich sampling of digital health applications c/o CES 2014 front and center in our consciousness (more later).

Our first guest of the new year is early Google Glass adopter aka 'Glasshole' and forward leaning surgeon Rafael Grossman, MD, FACS; follow on twitter via @ZGJR. Dr. Grossmann 'is a general, trauma and advanced laparoscopic surgeon who believes using wearable and mobile technology like Google Glass and iPhone offers better patient care and saves lives.'

We'll discuss his background and what drew him into experimentation with this device and cloud based platform as to clinical relevance and forward utility from telemedicine to continuing medical education and beyond.
