Tensie J. Taylor is from Louisburg, North Carolina. She graduated from North Carolina State University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication—Media concentration—and a minor in Psychology. In 2014, she graduated from the

University of Southern California with a Master of Education in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs. Currently, Tensie is the Assistant Director of the USC Black Alumni Association, where she directs the Legacy through Leadership Mentoring Program.
