About Our Guest:

Mr. Richardson serves as Program Manager for Senior Leadership Development Training at DEOMI and wears several hats for the institute. He is also the Air National Guard Service Liaison Office, Active Duty Air Force Liaison Officer, and the Assistant Program Manager for the Equal Opportunity Advisor Reserve Component Course. Major Richardson designs, develops, and implements curriculum for External Training on Human Relations and Diversity. He travels the world delivering training to senior leaders and executives of the DOD and all branches of the armed forces.

 

Mr. Gary Richardson served in the Air Force for four and a half years before leaving active duty and joining the Air National Guard in 1993. He was stationed at Griffiss AFB, NY and was assigned to the Civil Engineering Squadron as a welder. Mr. Richardson has a combined 27 years of military experience and has been an adjunct instructor at DEOMI since 2005. He is a retired New York State Trooper where he was the Equal Employment Opportunity Compliance Officer and held the rank of Lieutenant. Mr. Richardson is a member of the National Diversity Council, Former Diversity Chair Member for CNY SHRM, and is the Founder and CEO of his own Diversity Consulting Firm. Since 1999, he has trained over 10,000 participants and has just completed his first book on diversity titled: Beyond Demographics, the Truth about Diversity.
