Dr G started DJing in 1974 while a student at Howard University. He DJ'd parties all over DC and Md.
In 1975 he was a co- founder of Howard's AM radio station WHBC.
In 1978 he was the midnight host of Mann's Mind, a funk rock radio program at Howard's FM station WHUR. At WHUR he played Jimi Hendrix, Betty Davis, Graham Central Station, Sly Stone, Funkadelic, Frank Zappa, George Duke, EWF and much more.
Today he is still playing clubs and DJing all over DC and Md.
