Hindsight is an amazing source.  Now, in the winter of a life I  look back on mine and wonder. If only someone had told me why poetry and reason are constantly in a battle to the death. Gave me names of authors and told me their works would life a weight off my shoulders; would teach me the meaning of happiness and help me organize my thoughts. If only. Aristotle, Homer, Dante; it would have made a difference. Had I known earlier four classical themes in art; Epic,Lyric, Tragic, Comic -it would have shown me a mental path. Right? Had I known the theology of Dante Inferno illustrated situations that would befall me, the familiarity would have helped. Right?  Blame was  replaced when I stood up and assumed responsibility for all of it. No excuses and a struggle with reason. The mysteries of a good life are readily shown if you know where to look at a price- criticism of your peers. If I pass along any small piece of knowledge, it is a hope of helping a searcher to find challenge in life, to discovery with effort there is purpose in life;  whether they live according to purpose or not.  Within the folds of a page, an idea is enriched by context. Context is where we find meaning.  Learning the context of your life is between you and the inner sense that shares your life, that knows your truths, that rallies your courage.  The Craft does not transform the world around. It transforms the inner man.

Find dialogue. Be part of a molecule- proton, neutron or electron it doesn't matter. Find the other two and the connect reveals itself. They, like you are curious and thoughtful. Whether anuma or anibus, can you admit when you are changing? Audi Vide Tace.  If only I'd known being truth to myself was no where near selfish or ego. I am incomplete. A mason master.
