MASONRY NOW- ACHIEVEMENT, VISION

Each and every aspect of Freemasonry is precisely where it should be. To suggest otherwise is to suggest geometry and the mathematics on which it is based, is somehow flawed. After decades of appeal to intelligent discerning men, they have begun en masse to ask penetrating questions. We see proof of this the effect of ritual. During the initiatory elements, presence of mind reflects the significant purposefulness of the ceremony. Thereafter, that purposeful aspect becomes suspended. The frankness of Masonry, discoveries that tend toward insight (and character building) is subdued. Where ever and when ever the chemistry is compromised, we see evidence that traces of the profane world having been allowed by us to enter the Lodge, have been tolerated. No one person is blameworthy. To restore and preserve the sanctum sanctorum the thinking that repudiates the slightest but vital intrusions into our belief systems would need restoration. What of the acceptance? It is there for the worthy alone; the opportunity to face unequivocal truths, through purpose that has too often been compromised might feel like sand slipping through our fingers.
Today, our Craftsmen are better equipped than yesterdays. We are poised on the brink of this period of enlightenment reconsidered; a sturdy group of Ancients facing a formidable group of Moderns.
So when we come together, it is in Brotherhood. Quietly and deliberately go about building conservatively. Be intelligently, effectively impartial. Prepare, knowing life pathways have many forks, many decisions, many options. Those based on good mathematics are often harshly accurate, unlike my ego driven likings. Mathematics is truthful- impactful. The Brotherhood is quietly thriving.
